Ohhhh.... I see it now. So the functionality is already there. In fact, it may be a good place for one of my other suggestions (about subscribing to the feed).

I personally like the newest "flat" style of web design, but with muted/single color icons, it makes it easy to get overlooked.

Either way could work. However, adding all of the other details that each "reading" page has (i.e. RSS link & description, tags, etc.) might be easier on a new page since you already have the formatting and functionality.

On the other hand, if you are looking to have a more condensed view of the next article, than a modal pop-up might be the way to go.

No luck. I cleared cache, restarted browser and re-launched the site. Still displaying mostly off the right side of the screen. Additionally, it is behaving the same in IE Version: 10.0.9200.17028 - and this is after reading your reply (so no history on the site).
